Who is Eligible to Join UMMCU?

How May An Eligible Person Join UMMCU?

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

To apply for membership in UMMCU, call (309)827-8636 to request a member packet. Alternately, you may fax a request to (309)827-7275 or e-mail a request to ummcu@earthlink.net. Complete the Application for Membership. Do not leave any spaces blank. Sign in the 2 designated spots and date the card. Complete the Account the Agreement. Please make sure that all the necessary lines are filled in. All joint owners must sign the account agreement. And, each owner will need to provide a clear copy of a photo id such as a driver's license. Finally, an initial deposit of $25 payable to UMMCU is required.

What Services Are Offered To UMMCU Members?

UMMCU has many savings and lending services which can be of help in creating financial stability by increasing your interest earnings and reducing your debt. Available savings account options include passbook accounts, certificates of deposit, club accounts, checking accounts, debit cards, as well as several IRA accounts. Similarly, UMMCU offers a range of lending opportunities from personal and auto loans to Visa cards.
